A high-quality keyboard undergoes dozens of production steps from concept to completion. Today, we take you inside JP's factory to explore how a keyboard is born.
Concept Design Phase
Every new product begins with a design sketch. JP's design team draws inspiration from user feedback, market trends, and material innovations to create initial product concepts. Finalizing the color palette often requires dozens of iterations to find the perfect shade.
Engineering Development Phase
After finalizing the design, the engineering team began structural design, circuit design, and switch tuning. JP operates its own switch lab where every switch undergoes over 10,000 actuation tests to ensure it meets standards for tactile feel and durability.
Quality Control Phase
Every keyboard undergoes full inspection after mass production, including key actuation force testing, backlight uniformity checks, and connection stability tests. Only keyboards that pass all inspections are shipped.
